Federico ZULLO

Dr. Federico Zullo (BSc in Physics, Roma 2003; MSc in Theoretical Physics Roma 2005; Ph.D. in Mathematical Physics Roma 2011) is a Physicist with research interests in ecological modelling, population dynamics, complexity theory and sustainability, Hamiltonian and dissipative non-linear evolution equations, soliton theory and integrable systems. In 2005 he was awarded the “Premio Galluzzi per la fisica” (academic prize for high achievements in graduate studies), and from 2008 to 2011 has been a scientific associate of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN). In 2009 he was accepted as a member of the National Group of Mathematical Physics (GNFM). From 2009 to 2011 Dr. Zullo was a teaching assistant at Roma Tre University for the courses of Analysis and Mathematical Methods in Physics.
Currently he is working on the development of a mathematical model based on the assumption that the behavior of economic and ecological systems can be described on the basis of the exergetic influx of exergy resources and on their consumption within the system: the model allows to assess which system parameters affect its sustainability the most, and why.
Dr. Zullo has authored 7 peer-reviewed articles and several popular science papers.

Dr. Zullo joined Circus in 2009.
