MISSION

As an Academy-based research group with strong industrial links and a natural inclination for engineering applications, CIRCUS’ mission is easily stated:
a) to develop frontier applications in Process Design & Simulation
b) to develop advanced CFD applications in external- and internal flows (mostly, but not solely, Turbomachinery related problems)
c) to develop frontier applications in AI-assisted Process Synthesis
d) to design and develop, in strict cooperation with industrial Partners, Components and System Prototypes
e) to promote international cooperation in all the above fieldsg years the mission of the Center has grown somewhat, so that its name no longer completely represents its mission.
